United Way of Thurston County is pleased to announce this year’s Day of Caring will be taking place on Friday, September 26th!
Click on the Day of Caring tab on the yellow bar and you will see the list of projects. Next to each project, there will be a ticker with the number of volunteer spaces still available.
You will be able to sign up as an individual, or as a team. If you sign up as a team, be prepared to enter the names, email addresses, and t-shirt sizes of the individuals on your team.
Sign up goes through the end of August, but projects choices will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Day of Caring is the largest single day of volunteerism in the South Sound! We invite you to join us as we celebrate 22 years of Day of Caring in Thurston County, where volunteer teams come together to complete one-day service projects for local agencies. Last year’s Day of Caring was a great success, with over 750 volunteers and nearly 40 project sites, and we are looking to bring in even more agencies and volunteers for 2014 to make an even bigger impact in our community!
Please contact Sara Kukkonen at email@example.com if you have any questions or if you would like further updates.
